Although Inflation has begun taking a back seat to the GDP and Unemployment numbers, it still may have some impact. Impact on interest rates which may be ready for another 0.25% increase in late October.
However, will this impact real estate prices in the Fraser Valley? I believe this impact will be minimal, with the somewhat seasonal nature of not wanting to move in the winter, most sellers are likely to hold on for spring and resist price reductions. Reductions that mare reverse significantly when expected rate cuts come to fruition in 2024. |
