Sometimes it’s the noticeable sound that grabs your attention, sometimes it’s the aerobatic maneuvers. Either way, the Snowbirds are a joy for the entire family. There are a few criteria I use when ranking a patio, they are; Space, Utility, Look and Feel.
The Space is where it all starts, if you have 3 kids and love having large gatherings, you will definitely need a higher square footage. Something that reminds you of an apartment balcony just won’t do. On the other hand, if all you want is a second cooking area for your BBQ, to sit with a few drinks with your spouse. Let’s make sure your two chairs fit across from the amazing smell wafting off the grill.
Next, what does patio utility even mean. It comes down to that year round use, do you want a hot tub, do you want a patio that can be covered in the winter. If so, let’s look for the patio with a sturdy foundation and available electricity supply that fits your needs. A bonus in this category can also be natural gas fittings for a BBQ or Fireplace.
Lastly, and maybe most importantly do the look and feel match you. Is this a patio you would swipe right on? Maybe you want that morning sun to do yoga or that evening sunset view over the ocean. Whichever it may be, I won’t rest until we find the one for you.
